Fine Dining At Le Gourmet

You can’t miss it. It’s located along the piazza of The Curve, along with the numerous eateries there. If you are looking for a nice place to take your loved one but unwilling to pay through your nose for a nice meal for two, Le Gourmet House is a good pick. It’s fine dining at reasonable prices. And it helps that the Mediterranean fare is actually rather good.

To whet your appetite, there is nothing better than Sicilian Seafood Bisque with Stuffed Fish. The soup was nice and thick, with liberal servings of salmon chunks, shellfish, celery and carrots.

For starters, you can’t go wrong with the Andalucian-style Tiny Meatballs in Almond Sauce with Salmon Pikelettes or Stuffed Aubergine with Rockets (FYI, that’s actually minced beef), Cherry Tomatoes and Walnuts topped with Berries and Lemon Dressing. Delicious enough that you’ll want to have seconds though you really shouldn’t if you want room enough in your tummy to enjoy your main course.

Shepherd’s Buglidicce is essentially mashed potatoes and minced chicken served with mushroom sauce. If you are feeling ravenous, the Paella Luzonia with Mixed Seafood, Vegetables and Salted Fish will fill you up adequately with its generous helpings of squid, mussels, prawns, tomatoes and carrots.

And what better way to finish off the meal than with the opulent Oranges in Spiced Caramel with Chocolate Brownies.
