Bubba Gump Shrimp – inspired by the motion picture ‘Forrest Gump’ – has been popular amongst patrons of The Curve at Mutiara Damansara. The restaurant brings the much heard of American southern charm and an amusing dining experience to Malaysian food enthusiasts.
Food is the hero at Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. The restaurant provides a range of fresh, innovative and outstanding dishes that is affordable with attentive and fun service.
Among the items on the menu include Dynamite Shrimp, Popcorn Shrimp and Shrimper’s Net Catch. Texas Cajun Chicken and Sandwich Shrimp Po’boy are just some of the sandwich options while you can take your pick of either The Alabama Mud Pie or That Chocolate Thing from the dessert list.
For the hardcore ‘Forest Gump’ fans, a retail store will be made available within the restaurant that sells souvenirs and clothing. Specialty items include key chains, license plates with catch phrases like "RUN, Forrest, RUN", boxes of chocolates, T-shirts, hats and sweatshirts.
The restaurant is open for business from Mondays to Sundays, 11am to 12:30am on weekdays and 11am to 1am on weekends. Operation hours will be extended till 2am beginning May 2009.
