Review:
Hmmm. McFadden was a rather forgettable member of a rather forgettable but enormously successful boyband group. Tired of being in the background while little Shane Filan sang a string of hit cover songs by artistes like ABBA and Billy Joel, McFadden struck out on his own back in 2004.

Prior to this I must admit I thought his main achievement was in hooking some hot chick like Delta Goodrem. And it probably still is. But ‘Set In Stone’ is nowhere near as bad as I thought it would be.

In fact, it is really average. That’s right, typical anonymous pop. I don’t know if the little girls who bought his earlier con job are going to fall for this, but it’s not that bad. Honestly, “Like Only A Woman Can” is even a bit better than mediocre.

Still, I can’t help but hope that this is the last we’ll hear from the boy.
